The End Of The Year

We are finally here at the end of the year, and our final assignment in this globaloria class is to sum up everything we've done thus far. In this class we've learned how to set up a blog, a wiki, and a minigame. We've learned how to connect the three through verious links or email addresses. We've learned how to start and code a game through flash and how to post our progress on the internet for the whole globaloria world to see and comment about. We've learned many many valuable things throughout this long yet somehow short year. Coding got complecated at some points but with support and help from Mr. Allder and other classmates we made it through no matter what the challenge was. This knowledge will without a doubt be useful somewhere else in life. Now all we have to do is remember it lol. I think that about sums it up for my final blog assignment so, for the last time, this is Zach Akers (theresultofboredom) saying peace and take it easy everyone.

It's Been Fun :)

Presentation

For our game presentaion we are, so far, doing fairly well. We have gone over our total points judging by the craiteria and we have around a 75%. We still have some work to do with sound and levels and such but for the most part our game is passing and only needs a little work if any at all. All we really need is to prepare for the upcoming presentation and we are basicly all set after just a little more work. I am very confident that we will do very well with the time we have left.

The Rest of the Year in Globaloria

For the rest of our short year in Globaloria with Mr. Allder we are hoping to finish at least 3 levels of our game, History Attacks, by first finishing the last little bit of our first level and then taking what we learned by doing it and, hopefully, speed through the next two levels in no time flat. As it is right now we have Mark working on the last bit of the first level, while I am designing the second level, and Pedie is busy on the final level. After we have these designed to an extent Mark will come in and code everything and we will tie it all together into one complete and, hopefully, decent game. So far Mark has made amazing progress with the coding for our first level and it looks really really good. We are hoping the next two levels turn out just as good if not better than the first, but a big part of that depends on how much time mark is left with to do the coding, if he doesnt have enough time left in the year we may have to leave our game uncomplete, but we really dont wanna do that, so were hoping to get all of this finished with at least a few days to spare. But only time will tell i guess, wish us luck. Go get'em Mark.

The Rest Of This Year

For the rest of this year I think were gonna do fairly well in our game were almost done with the first level. Im busy creating the movie scene while Mark continues with the actual game portion and Pedie continues to supply us with coding. I think we will make it pretty far in here.
